Decorated in a rich variety of FAMILLE ROSE , illustrating a river- and mountain scene : we see sampans, pagoda's , fishermen ,pavilions in the wood , mountains . All enclosed by a diaper pink pattern border with 3 floral reserves . The reverse has a ruby-back glaze on the rim.

In the center a family -scene illustrating an elder man seated in a chair, being offered a pomegranate by a younger boy ; a young woman seated on a turquoise garden seat watching another boy holding a fishing rod . The rim with flower sprays, butterflies and insects on a grisaille cell- pattern ground.

Very finely shaped to ressemble a flower : 6 sides with rounded corners . Deocration done in very fine FAMILLE ROSE , illustrating a fisherman's family, fishing in the Yellow River , on a sampan . All watched by 2 elder men drinking tea on the border of the river.
